Vaux Kraken

This performance shortboard is fully armed for hittin’ the lip and pullin’ in pits. A pro-inspired mythical beast that uses a modern configuration of late rise rocker, wider hull and slight vee to slay solid surf.

From the depths of mighty water caverns comes this modern shorty. A pro-inspired weapon fully armed to have you ripping.

With a wider outline and a touch more volume under the chest than shortboards of old, this is a stick that will allow you to shred in more conditions. Its single concave gives a responsive ride, while providing a broader sweet spot. There’s more tail lift to help you fit right in the pocket, along with a touch of vee to help initiate performance turns.

We ride it as a thruster, but if you're game for some tube time, a quad might be your flavour. This model comes stock as a squash, but a round tail is a great option when grabbing a step up. It’ll take you to the edge... but we can't promise you'll ever come back.

This board comes in white or with a slick red tail dip... you can choose a different colour if you wish.

Our EXPU 50/50 epoxy polyester technology consists of a traditional handshaped wooden stringer polyester blank, wrapped in fibreglass cloth and glassed with epoxy resin.

EXPU combines the beneficial flex and performance of a PU, with the strength, lightweight and eco friendly characteristics of an epoxy board. It's the best of both worlds, creating a board that you will love!
